Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager who will take responsibility for a dedicated FM contract with a major client. You’ll be responsible for delivery of all services within scope across the portfolio, including operational field teams, helpdesk, contractors and suppliers, while also ensuring all agreed SLAs and KPIs are met.


Responsibilities

With the Account Director, develop and implement plans to deliver the P&L for the account; meet and sustain performance against key measures (SLA’s and KPI’s); initiate service improvements to maximise benefits for Arcus and the client; and ensuring excellent customer service.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Make decisions to further the Arcus strategy and vision.
  • Undertake regular meetings with Client and review the services being provided to ensure value for money and service excellence are being delivered.
  • Build long-term relationships with the client and key stakeholders, delivering value and great service on the areas that matter to them.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement through the facilities function by identifying and implementing improvements to current practices.
  • Management, coaching and development of team.
  • Manage, forecast and control expenditure within agreed budgets.
  • Provide leadership to all Managers to ensure that all strategic objectives are met, and quality standards continue to improve.
  • Ensure the key statutory compliance measures are delivered.

Qualifications

You will have a recognised and relevant qualification in FM, Customer Service or Management at level 5 or above.

Ideally you'll be a member of a professional institution or trade association directly relevant to the range of services to be managed i.e. Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM), Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), or an engineering-based institute.

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar, high profile role.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (desirable).
  • Proven track record managing operations or facilities maintenance for multi-site commercial building environment.
  • Understanding of KPIs and performance management and a track record of delivering continuous process improvement.
  • Understanding organisational requirements and systems in the areas of quality management, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Knowledge in areas of financial planning and control.
  • Experience in managing clients and stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Experience of leading, managing and motivating an operational and field-based team during periods of change and business growth.
  • Experience in strategic planning, decision making and execution, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
