The purpose: to provide high-quality compliant water hygiene solutions. There will be an emphasis on legionella monitoring, cleaning & disinfections and servicing of thermostatic mixer valves/taps as there is currently a work bank to go straight onto.
The role would involve operating as a hands on engineer alongside others, while supervising:
* Disinfection of hot and cold water services, including MDPE pipework to water authority standards, cold water storage tanks, calorifiers and pool balance tanks
•To undertake legionella monitoring to ensure compliance with the ACoP L8 / HSG 274, PPM, Schedules and Procedures.
•Use workflow systems correctly and ensure compliance information recorded and added to electronic log book.
•Service of Thermostatic Mixer Valves / Taps
•Water sampling of hot and cold water systems, including swimming pool, hot tubs and where necessary, effluent samples.
•Undertake all works in accordance with H&S policy and safe working practices.
•To be polite of smart appearance and diligent in the discharge of the duties required and represent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.
You will be involved in decision making in order to scale and grow the emerging southern business. You will be expected to nurture the existing team but also add to the team as well as helping with business generation.
Standard hours of work are 0830-1600. Overtime is available paid at time and a half and double time.
The company is very proactive in developing staff using accredited bodies including the Water Management Society.
