Are you an experienced HSQE professional within the Rail or Civil Engineering sector, looking for a role with an organisation where your career can flourish?

The Role and Responsibilities

As the HSQE Advisor working for a Principal Contractor within the Rail Sector, you will be supporting the HSQE Manager and wider team on various rail projects across the south of the UK. This role will require attending sites to provide regular employee and subcontractor briefings and inductions, carrying our site inspections as well as incident investigations. You'll also meet with the client to ensure H&S policies and procedures are being met, working with your manager concerning monthly safety meetings, as well as assisting in the maintenance and development of the company management systems.

As a trusted Principal Contractor who have won various projects and frameworks within the Rail Sector, you'll be joining an organisation that prides itself on quality and accountability. They provide the full turnkey solutions in relation to signalling, mechanical, electrical and power (MEP), telecoms and signalling providing a fully tested and commissioned service, on Network Rail's controlled infrastructure.

Remuneration

Salary up to 40,000 per annum, 20 days holiday + BH, Company Pension scheme, and quarterly company social events.

About You

You will be an experienced HSQE Advisor within the Rail Sector, and happy to travel to various sites. You will also hold your NEBOSH Construction certificate, TECH IOSH, Experience of working on rail/construction, preferably Electrification and Plant projects and working to Network Rail Standards, and hold a valid PTS.
