Our client a well know fashion retailer is looking for a Maintenance Assistant (Entry level) to join their London team to support the Maintenance Team across their stores in London.
Job purpose of the Maintenance Assistant:
This role would suit someone who has some basic maintenance skills and looking further to develop their skills. Your primary function will to assist the Maintenance Team in carrying out general repairs, maintenance and PPM works, statutory testing requirements and general improvements to the London property portfolio.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant:
- To assist and carry out general repairs, maintenance and any other reasonable requests to shops, offices and any other building / property within the company.
- Moving furniture, large items; maintenance supplies, equipment, and other miscellaneous items from site to site.
- Maintain the general upkeep of the departments dedicated vehicle.
- To complete PPM and Statutory testing requirements.
- Ensure the workshop spaces are kept in a tidy, organised, and well stocked condition.
Experience & Skills required for the Maintenance Assistant:
- To be educated to GCSE level with a minimum grade C in 5 subjects including Maths and English.
- Full, current driving licence - Essential
- Proven experience in a role associated with maintenance or the building trade / general labouring including minor decorating as and when required.

Salary & benefits on offer for the Maintenance Assistant:
This is an Entry level full time position with a salary being offered of £26,000.00 per annum.
