Job Description

We are working with a UK leading technical services and facilities management company that are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance on a PFI healthcare contract in Sheffield.

Role Responsibilities;

  • Carrying out PPM's and reactive work on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ensure the CAFM system is managed, produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on services and manage all planned and reactive works.
  • Be a good all round experienced maintenance engineer to complete minor works and reactive tasks
  • All jobs to be progressed in a timely manner to enable contractual obligations to be met and central services to progress billing where necessary.
  • Meet with client and auditors as necessary, and attend meetings ensuring all agreed actions completed.
  • Take ownership of maintenance delivery and building sites as required.
  • Cover all sites as and when required and be on call for escalations.
  • Supervision of maintenance team including CPDs, rotas, appraisal, HR matters, work allocation and staff training.
  • Supervision of subcontractors as required.
  • Ad-hoc tasks to complete any task requested of you.
  • Attend training as required to enhance supervisory and technical skills.

 

Ideal Candidate Experience;

  • Have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in building maintenance and or facilities management.
  • Being a multi-skilled maintenance engineer ideally Electrical trade with  relevant qualifications and experience (Essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work for self and others.
  • Capable of competently using the IT provided.
  • Be a great team worker and provide training and motivation.
  • Ability to work on an on call  rota of 1 in 4 basis

 

Benefits of the role;

  • Salary around £45,000
  • 40 hour contact, typically between hours of 8-5, Mon-Fri
  • On call payment + overtime paid at 1.5
  • 28 days holidays (including bank holidays)
