ATA Recruitment are working with a leading solutions provider for the packaging, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Our client is the first-choice supplier for specialised machinery providing the state of the art, innovative and robust designs.
Due to increase in demand and extensive growth plans our client is looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their dynamic and friendly team in Warwickshire, you will be able to apply your design skills within varied and interesting projects working along side industry experts to achieve business goals.
This Mechanical Design Engineering role is perfect for those who are passionate, energetic, and willing, projects can range from adjustments of standard machine designs to new bespoke orders.
The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for applying yourself within the design department working on client specifications to produce accurate design for manufacture.
Some of the duties that a Mechanical Design Engineer will have to carry out are:
- To produce 3D Model designs of equipment and machinery.
- To produce layout drawings.
- To Produce detailed design drawings using SolidWorks.
- Work and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Undertake new challenges and apply all technical skills learnt.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:
- An Engineering qualification.
- Experience with CAD packages.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong skills in written and verbal communication.
