Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Location: Tameside
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week + call-out rota
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Other: Van, fuel card, PPE, tools, company pension, private healthcare, overtime available
Overview:
Join a leading UK Facilities Management company with over 50 years of experience. We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician with HVAC/AC expertise to join our client team in Tameside, working on a Schools contract.
Role Purpose:
You will be part of a dynamic team, delivering high-quality building maintenance services. The role involves both planned and reactive maintenance in an educational environment. Note: An Enhanced DBS check is required upon a successful job offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain facilities to contract performance standards.
- Conduct planned and reactive building maintenance.
- Provide timely updates and technical reports.
- Diagnose faults on M&E systems.
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment.
- Complete required regulatory documents and risk assessments.
- Maintain records and inform the team of follow-up actions.
- Participate in the On-Call rota.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 18th Edition certification (essential)
- Experience in AC and HVAC control systems (essential)
- Familiarity with BMS Control Systems
- Electrical Maintenance experience (essential)
- Full driving license and willingness to travel
