We're excited to announce an amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Maintenance Planner with a focus on site shutdowns and managing teams of contractors. You'll be working for a top-performing, professional business that operates across 350 sites in over 30 countries worldwide, manufacturing a bespoke product for a range of FMCG businesses. This is a business-critical position where you'll be responsible for daily maintenance planning within a semi-automated plant, working alongside production and maintenance to get the best out of the assets onsite.
Responsibilities of senior Maintenance Planner:
As the Senior Maintenance Planner, your duties will include full management of the CMMS system, ensuring PPM/TPM schedules are met within the correct time limit, inputting and analysing data on each asset, processing work orders, providing maintenance schedules to a team of engineers, liaising with production when machines/lines can be taken down for overhaul/PPM, scheduling maintenance on site shut down days, and adapting schedules proactively when breakdowns occur.
- Manage the CMMS system and ensure PPM/TPM schedules are met within the correct time limit.
- Input and analyse data on each asset and process work orders.
- Provide maintenance schedules to a team of engineers and liaise with production when machines/lines can be taken down for overhaul/PPM.
- Schedule maintenance on site shut down days and adapt schedules proactively when breakdowns occur.
- Organize contractors and manage their work on site.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including downtime and repair costs.
- Continuously review and improve the maintenance planning process to ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability.
A successful Senior Maintenance planner application will need:
- CMMS system and maintenance planning experience.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Experience working within a manafactuering environment.
