I am recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for a Facilities Management contract based in Andover. This role involves providing expert project management support to the Operations Team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and alignment with company strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the replacement of the current Asset Management System through effective project management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Develop and uphold suitable project governance frameworks.
  • Prioritize tasks within the project and provide regular updates during Steering Group meetings.
  • Align project activities with the company's strategic goals and workflow.
  • Ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet project objectives.
  • Guide and direct the project team to meet stakeholder expectations and achieve project goals related to cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Hold timely and constructive review meetings with both the project team and sub-teams.
  • Create and track the project schedule to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate changes, risks, opportunities, and issues related to the project.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans for identified risks.
  • Oversee vendor communications to manage licensing, variations, fixes, and performance, ensuring contractual terms are updated as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business, IT) and Project Management certification (PRINCE2, APM).
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to manage project teams.
  • Flexible, structured, and energetic self-starter with a focus on goals.
  • Knowledge of project methodologies and experience in facilities, estates, or construction.
  • Proficient in communication, project programmes, Gantt charts, budget monitoring, and risk management.
  • Proven track record in systems implementations and resource management.
