Then look no further ElectricianHourly Rate - £16.32 per hour (plus benefits)Hours - 47.5 hours per week, 7.00am to 5.00pmLocation Postcode - WF11 0AHBased at Darrington Quarry, but covering the surrounding quarries, the position of Qualified Industrial Electrician is varied and exciting, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 21 days' annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and many more- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing PlatformWhat will you be doing?- Carrying out effective planned maintenance.- Carrying out remedial repairs following routine statutory electrical testing.- Attending emergency breakdowns.- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding.- Providing temporary fixes and permanent solutions to maintain operation.What we're looking for- Trained to City & Guilds or ONC standard, ideally with a working knowledge of BSth edition.- Conversant with the Electricity at Work Act.- The ability to read electrical drawings.- Familiarity with industrial mobile and fixed plant.- A working knowledge of PLCs, inverters, drives and motor control circuits etc.- The ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems.- Experience across a wide variety of equipment.About UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation's leading waste and resource management companies.
