Role: Payroll Administrator

Location: Newcastle (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)

Salary: £26,000

Our client is looking for a Permanent Payroll Administrator to work at their office in Newcastle.

Duties:

      Possess a strong understanding of payroll and pension processes, including familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements.

Execute payroll and pension procedures meticulously, covering tasks such as timesheet input, processing payroll cycles, managing pension amendments, and handling auto-enrolment.

Address inquiries related to pay and pension promptly and accurately, while also managing absence administration and overseeing statutory and voluntary deductions from pay.

Manage various aspects of payroll administration, including loading interface files, collaborating with HR as necessary, and handling tax code changes and RTI submissions.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks such as annual pension returns, pension reconciliation, and uploading relevant information to providers' portals.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and operating procedures for all payroll and pension-related processes, facilitating smooth operations and compliance.

Skills Required:

      Experience in operating within a Payroll/Pensions team in a transaction processing environment
