Programme Manager, London

My Client is a leading Facilities Management Organisation based in Central London. They are looking to recruit a Programme Manager to lead the overall delivery Programme for lifecycle works & major variations on a total facilities management contract covering multiple sites in central London.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively lead the Project team at the delivery level
  • Foster effective working relationships, understanding Senior Client’s needs and ensuring delivery expectations are met internally
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and understanding of the JCT contract
  • Communicate Programme and progress effectively to all stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely Programme and budget reporting
  • Monitor forecast and team capacity to meet business critical requirements
  • Identify opportunities for project work growth to enhance company profitability
  • Plan and organize resources effectively for project teams and contractors
  • Serve as a role model for project management best practices
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including CDM and H&S priorities
  • Prepare and distribute necessary reports and documentation professionally and timely
  • Advise and influence the team based on knowledge and experience
  • Solve problems and make decisions based on extensive skills and knowledge
  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to cost approval governance for items exceeding cost forecasts
  • Attend Client meetings as directed for Programme reporting

Candidate Requirements:

  • Senior PM or Head of Projects with relevant role experience
  • CDM experience
  • Budget management experience and commercial awareness
  • Experience managing Client-facing multiple Project Works services in a diverse multi-site TFM portfolio
  • Strong communication, influencing, and motivational skills
  • Cost management and control, and quality monitoring expertise
