This important role supports the business to deliver
exceptional FM consultancy and benchmarking through the planning, executing,
monitoring, controlling, and completing of individual programmes of work. This
person is recognised as a Subject Matter Expert advising high
profile client organisations on best practice delivery of FM services through
in-house and contracted providers.
1.1.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
§ On-site
visits to client sites to conduct methodical evaluations, visual observations,
and stakeholder engagement in line with project requirements.
§ Writing
detailed, accurate and informative, reports and supporting documents /
presentations / project updates, using MS Office Word / Excel / PowerPoint, a
combination of these, or our bespoke reporting system.
§ Overseeing
all aspects of project delivery from order acceptance to order completion by developing,
scheduling, and managing detailed work plans and on-site visits via Monday.com.
§ Making
sure projects deliver the expected outcomes and benefits to the client
utilising industry best practice techniques and standards throughout the entire
project execution.
§ Supporting
the development of systems and processes that deliver consistent quality outcomes
§ Encouraging
positive interaction between all members of the project team.
§ Building strong, influential, and
collaborative client relationships with key stakeholders at all levels,
includes providing project updates on a consistent basis to various
stakeholders, inc. presentations, phone calls, other methods.
§ Interpreting
and analysing data to provide accurate reports and recommendations.
§ Conducting
productive site visits, maintaining company values, and expected behaviours, always
§ Identifying
additional project opportunities (inc. additional services) and being
responsible for helping the team convert them.
§ Develop
and maintain an appropriate level of subject matter expertise in your given
specific service area, and to maintain an awareness of all other service lines.
§ To
comply and contribute to the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
reflecting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Standard and
ISO 14001:2015 International Environmental Standard.
1.2.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
§ Occasionally,
when required, hours over and above standard will be expected. This might
include early starts, late evenings, or (minimally) weekends, e.g., for travel
to and from site and/or specific project actions.
§ Making
own travel and accommodation arrangements where necessary.
§ Representing
the organisation at networking events, via trade associations and trade shows
etc.

2.1.
Qualifications/Role Requirements/Knowledge
(Essential)
§ Bachelor’s
degree in a science, technical or business subject, or similar FM or Environmental
qualification, or proven track record in an equivalent consultancy role.
§ Experience
in the management of FM services (as job title) across a range of sites and
sectors.
§ Active
membership and / or involvement in appropriate professional trade associations.
§ Strong
knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
§ Strong
familiarity with project management software, methodology and best practices.
§ A
demonstrable commitment to on-going personal and professional development.

Qualifications/Role

§ Project
management professional certification.
§ Knowledge
of tablet-based auditing apps (e.g., iAuditor).

Other Requirements
§ The
role has an element of on-site working (this could be anywhere across the UK)
and overnight staying away from home. You must be willing to travel and hold a
full, valid driving licence.
§ The
role has flexible offsite working hours with a balance of home and office
working.
§ The
ratio of on-site to home/office working is approximately 40:60% respectively.
§ There
are no specific physical requirements for completion of the role, but it does require
an ability to tour a client site which may cover, at times, substantial
distances.
